We are seeking an inspiring and creative teacher of English to teach across all ability levels at Key Stages 3 and 4.
This is a full-time role which would suit an early career teacher or an established teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the full range of department activities and play an active role in the department’s enrichment activities and in the wider school community.
The successful candidate will ensure that high-quality classroom teaching and learning remain at the heart of all practice. Be able to take an active role in the department’s planning of creative, relevant and challenging schemes of work. Participate in a full range of departmental activities including regular moderation of pupil work, monitoring and intervention. The successful candidate will play an active role in the department’s extra-curricular initiatives and work collaboratively within the department to share examples of good practice and contribute to the sharing of ideas across the department.
