Ditcham Park School, just outside Petersfield, is a co-educational Independent School for boys and girls aged rising 3 – 16 situated in the middle of the South Downs National Park, with spectacular views of the rolling Hampshire hills and south across the Solent as far as the Isle of Wight.
Our aim is to provide an outstanding education, which equips our pupils with excellent academic qualifications and self-confidence and prepares them for the future. We believe that children learn best and develop self-confidence and self-esteem when they are encouraged in a caring and supportive environment. Our relatively small size enables Ditcham Park to be a genuinely friendly, happy school where ‘every child is known and valued’.’
Small class sizes, excellent teaching, strong pastoral care, a focus on technology and creativity and opportunities for personal development through sport, the arts and outdoor activities set on a beautiful 16-acre site are key features of the education our pupils receive.
It is a privilege and an opportunity to provide a ‘Through School’ experience for a child who can join our Pre-School aged rising 3 and journey through key stages of development up to Yr11 when s(he) will take their GCSEs which provide a passport to Sixth Form or College.
We are proud of our pupils’ academic progress and achievements, which represents excellent added value. Our GCSE results have improved each year over the last 5 years have been consistently impressive. In 2022 the School was ranked 13th in the country by the Sunday Times Best Schools Guide, in category, based on our GCSE results. Such success enables each of our pupils to move confidently onto their Sixth Form studies and beyond.
I would be delighted to welcome you to Ditcham Park School so that you and your son or daughter can meet pupils and staff and experience what we believe to be a unique family-friendly school where pupils are at the centre of all that we do.
Please email admissions@ditchampark.com to arrange a visit to the School or register for our May or October Open Mornings or one of our virtual events via this website.
