Ditcham Digest – Friday 12th June

Ditcham Digest – After what felt like 40 days and 40 nights of rain, the sun has finally come out up here on the hill just as this week draws to a close. Thankfully we are a hardy (and mostly waterproof) bunch and pushed on through regardless, although you will note that our sports reports section in the Digest is somewhat empty… but perhaps everyone needed a week of rest after the exams and assessments?! With our Junior and Senior Sports Days just over a week away, everyone will feel refreshed when Monday comes around and those hurdles and high-jump mats come out of hibernation.

But before we string up the bunting and prepare the house-colour ribbons on the trophies, find yourself a quiet corner in the late afternoon sunshine and take a moment to enjoy a refreshing fruit punch and some mini cheddars. Its time to read the news:
