Ditcham Digest – Its been an eerily quiet week at Ditcham Towers this week with most of the pupils and staff away on a multitude of residential trips, but for those us left to keep the home fires burning, we’ve enjoyed eating all the biscuits and fruit in the staff room and not cleaning up after ourselves.
Understandably, this week’s news is rather light although please do marvel in the creative learning of our Juniors, incredible artwork from the ISA Regional Art Finals and the matches that have still taken place. There will be full reports on the adventures in next week’s newsletter and on social media. So, brush the dust of that bottle of Dubonnet that still has a yellowing tombola ticket stuck to the neck, reassure yourself that alcohol doesn’t go off but ages beautifully, and pour it over some ice, wincing slightly as you remember just how sickly it is – its time to read the news!
