Ditcham Park School is a unique, successful and thriving school situated in 16 acres of the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have 400+ pupils, aged 4 to 16 years who benefit from a caring and supportive ethos and relatively small classes. GCSE results are consistently impressive and the school was ranked 14th best independent school, in category, in the country based on its GCSE results. The Role

We are seeking a committed, conscientious and hard working individual who is a great team player, taking pride in the impact they have in their role within the School. The successful applicant should be organised, comfortable with change and adopt a ‘can do’ attitude. This is a full-time, term-time only role.

The school has an extremely strong reputation for pastoral care and this will be a crucial focus of your work. Through care for, and support of all of the children, and by liaising closely with colleagues, learning support staff and parents, it is our expectation and experience that our pupils thrive in all areas of school life and any potential concerns can be speedily and positively resolved; the class teacher’s responsibility and proactivity in demonstrating and leading with this approach is paramount.
