Ditcham Dragonflies Open Morning

Come and visit our beautiful Ditcham Dragonflies nursery on 11th March.

Dragonflies Nursery has a kind and welcoming atmosphere, where children can be themselves, grow and flourish. Each child’s imagination, creativity and learning are fostered and supported, working with the magic and wonder of childhood.

Our Open Morning will give you a taster of what we do at Dragonflies and the environment your child will be learning in. During the morning there will be activities and fun for the children and tea and coffee for the adults. We’d love to see you – the day starts at 9am and finishes at 11am. Register your interest below.

Every day is different at the Dragonflies nursery and we fully embrace learning through movement and making the use of our stunning grounds:

The children will;

We supply specific outdoor clothes to enable them to get the most benefit of being outside and to keep them warm and dry and on their walks.

Our small class sizes mean that we can focus on the interests of each child, and bring this into the nursery. We talk about what is important to us and learn about each other. Over their time in the nursery, the children are encouraged to have a go, and to be proud, to ask questions and be inquisitive, and to grow in independence. We are lucky to be able to work closely with Reception to make the next step into Reception class be a bit smaller.

The nursery is guided by the children’s interests and next steps along with working with parents to best facilitate each child’s learning through the 7 areas of the EYFS.

We are happy to accept Government funding and electronic childcare vouchers from selected providers will also be accepted.

Performer. Ditcham has given me the confidence to develop as a performer – singing AC/DC at our Arts Festival was a bit different from what I usually sing in the cathedral choir; I loved it.
