Run Ditcham 2022

NEW date for Run Ditcham – now 24th April 2022

Run Ditcham 2022 – Sunday 24th April 2022

5K / 10K and Children’s Fun Run “Dragonflies Dash”

Welcome to all the details about Run Ditcham 2022 and we hope you will join us for a race in our spectacular location which supports the vital work of the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity which provides life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

April 2022 – Covid permitting – sees the 3rd running of this superb event held in the South Downs National Park.  The fabulous multi terrain 5K or 10K trail runs criss-cross the spectacular countryside, starting from our beautiful School near Petersfield, Hampshire. The 5K race is open to 12s and over, the 10K race for 16s and over. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The course is stunningly beautiful with superb views of the South Downs leading down to the Solent.  The topography of the course will provide you with a challenging run and if you ran the 2019 event, please come back and aim to beat your PB!

A special event for our young competitors will be held too; the Ditcham Dragonflies Dash. Parents, Grandparents or siblings can accompany and help the very small “dashers” if required!

Race timings

Registration starts from 8am and the starting gun for the 5K and 10K will fire at 10am.  At the Finish Line a stylish snood awaits all competitors and attractive wooden trophies for the 1st male and female for the 5K and 10K and medals for 2nd and 3rd place male/female 5K & 10K.

Our event will support The Teenage Cancer Trust and you can find out about this inspiring charity by clicking the link below.  Why not raise additional money for the charity by asking for sponsorship from friends and family?

Run Ditcham 2021 postponement message sent to competitors 12 August 2021

Thank you so much for registering your Run Ditcham place in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Your support is greatly valued by us and the Charity.

Registrations overall have been unusually and disappointingly low and as we want our competitors to experience a brilliant atmosphere and for the event to raise as much money as possible for the Charity’s vital work, we have taken the decision to postpone the event and move it to Sunday 24 April 2022 in order to secure more competitors.

We hope this is the first entry in your 2022 diary!

We will automatically transfer your registration to the new date unless you advise us to withdraw your entry via events@ditchampark.com by 31 December 2021.

Do look out for Ditcham Run 24 April 2022 promotion. All your Likes and Shares make a big difference and ultimately will help the Charity to provide life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

Thank you for your continued support,

Ditcham Run organising team

Performer. Ditcham has given me the confidence to develop as a performer – singing AC/DC at our Arts Festival was a bit different from what I usually sing in the cathedral choir; I loved it.
