Ditcham Park School Petersfield is a co-educational Independent School for boys and girls aged 2½-16 situated in the middle of the South Downs National Park, with spectacular views of the rolling Hampshire hills and south across the Solent as far as the Isle of Wight.
Our aim is to provide an outstanding education, which equips our pupils with excellent academic qualifications and self-confidence. I believe that children learn best and develop self-confidence and self-esteem when they are encouraged in a caring and supportive environment. Its relatively small size enables Ditcham Park School to be a genuinely friendly, nurturing school where ‘every child is known and valued.’ Small class sizes, excellent teaching, strong pastoral care and opportunities for personal development through sport, the arts and outdoor activities set on a beautiful 16-acre site are key features of the education our pupils receive.
We are proud of our pupils’ academic progress and achievements, which represent excellent added value. Our GCSE results over the last 10 years have been consistently impressive with the School usually placed near to or at the top of Hampshire GCSE league tables. Such success enables each of our pupils to move confidently into their Sixth Form A’ level studies and beyond.
I would be delighted to welcome you to Ditcham Park School near Petersfield in person so that you and your son or daughter can meet pupils and staff and make your own judgements on what we believe to be a unique family-friendly school where pupils are at the centre of all that we do. Please visit our Admissions page to arrange a personal visit to the School on a working day. Alternatively, you may prefer to visit the School on one of our Open Mornings in October and May.
