Pupil from Reception, Pre-Prep and Prep children had a fun-filled African themed World Book Day. We spent the morning learning all about the various African countries, climates and animals, following up with literacy and numeracy work and colouring African flags. We visited each other’s classrooms to hear our teachers read different stories with an African theme.
In the afternoon we all thoroughly enjoyed and African drumming session and chanting the ‘Kye Kye Kule’ song at the tops of our voices!
A great day was had by all – Happy World Book Day, one and all!
