DITCHAM PARK SCHOOL

Where every child is known and valued

Open Morning Saturday 2nd October 10am-1pm

The senior school provides an environment in which each individual pupil can develop his or her talents and potential to the full. The curriculum is broadly based, discouraging early specialisation, but with an emphasis on the core subjects of Maths, English and Science. It incorporates the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4, with additional material as appropriate. Teaching techniques are varied and interesting with the use of audio visual aids, ICT and educational visits. All pupils are expected to do homework each evening.

Besides the classroom curriculum, pupils are required to participate in a wide range of extra curricular activities, which mainly take place during the lunch breaks.

Many pupils have extra lessons in music and speech and drama.
