Middle Juniors were taken back to Tudor times in the 'Time Tunnel' of Southsea Castle. The ghost of the Castle's first master gunner guided the group through the castle's most dramatic scenes from its eventful history. The children also roamed the tunnels under the castle and had great fun dressing up in Tudor costume.

After a brisk walk along the seafront we were guests of Lady Jane at the Square Tower. Once again, we were privileged to be young Tudors learning to write using a quill in the classroom, dance with the house musician, make butter and sweetmeats in the kitchen with the cook, and work alongside the armourer to study the weapons used in Tudor times.
