Open Morning Saturday 2nd October 10am-1pm
Making full use of our fabulous surroundings at DPS Lower Juniors headed out into our woods to hunt for Habitats and mini-beasts. Tree trunks, piles of leaves and burrows were just some of the wonderful Habitats we discovered. The creatures we found included toads, centipedes and moths.
As well as using the experience to support our science topic, Habitats, we also produced descriptive writing based on additional trips into the woods.
