Lower Juniors spent a challenging morning at the Search Museum, Gosport, trying to establish if an excavated archaeological site near Salisbury had been the home to an inn, a fort, a temple or a farm.
They studied a selection of photographs taken by the archaeologists on the original dig as well as many artefacts from the site.
All of them made fabulous historical detectives, piecing together the clues before presenting their written reports, justifying their conclusions.
