The festive season has begun at school! Last week our Senior Choir, wind band and soloists performed with poise and confidence at the Save the Children Christmas Concert hosted by Churcher’s College.
Large numbers of pupils and parents attended The Friends of Ditcham Park School Christmas Fayre which was a tremendous success with a magical Santa’s Grotto, attractive Christmas stalls and delicious home baked cakes and edibles. Thank you to all parents and staff who organised and worked on the Christmas Fayre.
The festive season continued with Juniors Carols when parents and friends enjoyed carols and musical performances, accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies. Further Christmas fun was to be had at the Nativity Play performed brilliantly by all members of Nursery, Reception, Pre-Prep and Prep. Donkeys from the Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary made a guest appearance and were a very special addition to the nativity.
The last few days of term involve discos, parties and traditional Christmas lunch, followed by the school Christmas carol service at St James’ Church, Emsworth – a very busy festive and fun time for all!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
