Dr Sam Aaron visited our School on Thursday 3rd May as our visiting STEM speaker. He is an accomplished academic who works out of Cambridge University; however he sees himself more as a musician than an academic. As he explained to parents at the Breakfast Lecture and to our pupils in assemblies, he uses his coding skills to compose electronic music. His talent and creativity as a composer have led to invitations to perform live at concerts around the world. He will be performing at the Albert Hall in 2019. Sam Aaron’s message is that coding should not just be associated with financial technology or apps. It is a skill which provides the user with almost unlimited creative opportunities.
